“I believe that Vienna, and more specifically VIAC, is the natural dispute resolution hub for the so-called Western Balkan 6 countries, particularly for Kosovo. Economic indicators concerning business-making in Kosovo and more broadly the region are generally improving year-by-year. The demand for sophisticated, reliable dispute resolution services is growing as a corollary, particularly in a cross-border context. This demand is only seldomly best served by the domestic court system. I think VIAC as a dispute resolution service provider is extremely well-placed to play an important role in this overall situation, and I am very happy to contribute to this process.”
