Kamalia Mehtiyeva
Kamalia is a Professor of Law in Paris (Paris XII Creteil University). She is a member of the Paris Bar, and a partner at Barbier Mehtiyeva Law. Kamalia’s practice focuses on international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and international enforcement procedures. Kamalia also sits as an arbitrator. She is the co-founder and co-President, as well as a board member of the Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA), effective 29 September 2023.
Kamalia is a Professor of Law at the University of Paris-Est Créteil (France) where she co-directs LLM in International Arbitration and International Economic Litigation. Her teaching and research fields focus on international arbitration law, civil procedure, mutual legal assistance in both civil and criminal matters, international sanctions, parallel proceedings as well as international enforcement. Kamalia is admitted to the Paris bar.
